The rainbow, ain't it a reflection of my everyday
A life that is sometimes gloomy, sometimes gay
Its seven colors very clearly the story tell
If I cried today or smiled for all went well
Voilet and Indigo, deep and dark they are
A tough day you see, that ended late at a bar
At peace, calm and quiet is the cloudless blue
A normal day where time very fast flew
Bright and beautiful are both green and yellow
A perfect day, that made me happy and mellow
Passion, energy and love, show orange and red
The day when, for my kids, with my hands I baked bread
These shades of life, seen in a matrix of colorful hue
My calendar, about my everyday, gives so fine a clue
A contextual collage of all seasons, even winter and fall
I smile, for it tells, that it wasn't such a bad year after all
