I wonder at my painting of two great seas
One calm and serene blue, other a violent red ocean
My energies they are, driving my life into motion
I need my red, to give me the power to fight
To do what I feel, to frighten away fright
Red ignites passion, to love with all my might
Awakens me at dawn, once I sleep tonight
I need my blue too, to let me remain sane
For it is tough, living in the last lane
Blue makes me calm, to separate stone from grain
Helps enjoy real pleasures, like dancing in the rain
Two parts of the same whole, one husband other wife
In equal measure they both, bring balance to my life
They make life interesting, make stories that can be told
Make exciting colorful memories, for when I become old
I wonder at my painting of two great seas
Sitting at my table, while eating sweet green peas
